Dr. Kalin Faiz Saleh, the Lebanese-Canadian–Egyptian Ambassador of Humanitarian Leadership, expressed her joy and deep gratitude for her distinguished and active participation in the International Arab Influencers Conference recently held in Cairo. The event was the largest Arab and international gathering of Arab influencers worldwide, with wide participation from Canada, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Somalia, and the Maldives. Dr. Saleh renewed her thanks and appreciation to Dr. Aseel Al-Sharif, president of the International Arab Influencers Conference, and to Dr. Nisreen Mansour, vice president of the conference, for their warm hospitality, gracious reception, and for selecting highly important topics that cover all sectors of life and the concerns of Arab citizens from the Atlantic to the Gulf.

Dr. Saleh added in a press statement she made while returning to Beirut aboard the plane that dedicating expanded conference sessions to empowering Arab women at political, economic, and social levels would advance society as a whole. Her reason was simple: demographically, women make up half of society and raise the other half. In our authentic Arab societies there are also many women who are the breadwinners and who bear full responsibility for the family’s upbringing, education, and awareness.

Dr. Saleh concluded her remarks with an appeal to Arab civil society organizations across all Arab countries to strengthen joint Arab cooperation, foster brotherhood and rapprochement among Arab peoples, and raise collective Arab awareness throughout the Arab world from the Atlantic to the Gulf. She said this awareness is the first line of defense for the Arab nation when our youth understand the scale of the challenges facing the nation and remove all obstacles to exchanging expertise and information, thereby reinforcing and benefiting the desired Arab unity socially, culturally, and at every level.
