If going to the beach this summer seems too hard, too expensive or just too much hassle, City of Canterbury Bankstown has you covered!
Jump on one of our FREE buses to Cronulla beach on Friday 13 and Friday 20 January and relax! No stress or hassle with trains or parking; our buses will take you right to the sand.
No registrations are needed – just turn up at the pickup point. Getting to the beach has never been breezier!
Canterbury-Bankstown Mayor Khal Asfour said CBCity’s Bus to the Beach program has always been incredibly popular.
“We don’t want anyone in our City to miss out on visiting the beach this summer due to lack of accessibility,” Mayor Asfour said.
“We all know it can be time consuming and expensive to get the family to the beach during the holidays. That’s why we’re doing what we can to take the stress out of the situation and keep it simple – jump on one of our buses and focus on having fun instead of worrying about how to get there!”
The buses operate on a first-come, first-served basis and passengers must comply with the conditions and warnings. There are plenty of seats to the beach, with buses running on four different routes, some with multiple buses and multiple pick-up points in Canterbury-Bankstown. Buses depart from 9am onward and return from Cronulla Beach at 3pm SHARP. Visit our website for bus pickup points and times: cb.city/bustobeach
