Arabic version: حزب الأصالة والمعاصرة يفوز بأكبر عدد من المقاعد في انتخابات المغرب

According to France 24, Morocco’s Authenticity and Modernity Party won the most seats in the country’s parliamentary election, according to final results announced by the Interior Ministry on Friday.

The party secured 97 of the 395 seats in the House of Representatives. Known by its French acronym, PAM, it was founded by a royal adviser close to King Mohammed VI.

PAM did not win an absolute majority. It will need to negotiate with other parties to form a governing coalition.
