Spain rebounded from a disappointing draw in their World Cup opener by defeating Saudi Arabia 4-0 in Group H on Sunday. The European champions showcased their offensive prowess, with Lamine Yamal making a notable impact in his first start by scoring just 10 minutes into the match.

According to France 24, Yamal’s goal came from a well-placed cross by Mikel Oyarzabal, who went on to score two additional goals in the 21st and 24th minutes. Spain’s dominance was evident, allowing Yamal and Oyarzabal to be substituted before the start of the second half.

The second half saw Saudi Arabia’s struggles continue, culminating in an own goal by Hassan Altambakti, further extending Spain’s lead. With this victory, Spain now sits at the top of Group H with four points, while Saudi Arabia remains with one point after two matches.
