Arabic version: توجيه تهمة إلى مراهق بعد طعن مزعوم في حفلة بمارسدن بارك
According to ABC News, an 18-year-old man is recovering in hospital after an alleged stabbing following a large house party in Marsden Park, Western Sydney, on Friday night.
Police were called to the area at about 9:40pm. Because of the number of people at the party, officers directed that it be shut down.
Police allege that a physical altercation began while the crowd was being dispersed. An 18-year-old man suffered a laceration to his forearm and was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.
A short time later, police arrested a 17-year-old boy with assistance from members of the public. He was taken to Mount Druitt Police Station and charged with reckless wounding and possession of a prohibited drug.
Police said there were no other reports of injuries or damage to property. The boy was refused bail and was due to appear in the children’s court on Saturday.
