According to Al Jazeera, US President Donald Trump says negotiations with Iran are back on, while insisting that Tehran is “begging” for a deal.

Iran has acknowledged that talks are taking place. However, Tehran says it is in no rush to reach an agreement.

The differing public descriptions of the negotiations come on day 17 of Phase II of the US-Israel war on Iran. Al Jazeera described the situation as political déjà vu.
