Politicians across the United States have responded to President Donald Trump’s military action against Iran, which was conducted in conjunction with Israel. Other Democrats, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders, condemned the strikes as unlawful and dangerous, arguing that they could lead to further conflict.

Polls indicate a divided public opinion, with 33% of U.S. adults supporting the attack, while 45% disapproved. Approval among Democrats and Independents was notably low, at 10% and 21%, respectively. Republican support was significantly higher, with 68% in favor of the military action.

As the situation unfolds, fears of retaliation from Iran have risen, with reports of strikes targeting U.S. bases in the region. The ongoing conflict raises concerns about escalating violence and the potential for a broader war in the Middle East.
