According to ABC News, a woman in her 20s has died after falling from a balcony at a licensed hotel on Hindley Street in Adelaide’s CBD overnight.

SA Police said emergency services were called to the corner of Hindley and Morphett streets at about 4:10am. SA Ambulance paramedics treated the woman, but she died at the scene.

An area at the Rosemont Hotel was cordoned off on Sunday morning. Police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and that they were preparing a report for the coroner.

Police said they were aware members of the public may have captured footage of the incident. They urged anyone with relevant footage to contact police and strongly asked people not to share vision on social media or by other means, out of respect for the woman and her family.

SafeWork SA said its investigators attended the scene following initial reports about the nature of the incident. The agency said it could not comment further while enquiries continued.
